    Sixth annual Buttered Popcorn desert gathering. Three days split between the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings and the expanded grounds at Sandy Valley Ranch, with free buses running between them. Costume-required Junc Alley sits east of the saloon.

  2. Power Armor Festival

    Point Pleasant, WV

    Independent, free, all-ages fan festival for Fallout’s 30th anniversary. Downtown Point Pleasant and nearby game-adjacent spots (waterfront, Mothman statue, Fort Randolph, Krodel Park camping). Buttered Popcorn’s West Virginia calendar skips Wasteland Jamboree this year so the two events don’t stack.

    Announced

    Buttered Popcorn has said the Appalachia event comes back in June 2028 after the 2027 skip. Exact weekend and venue are not posted. The 2026 edition was Sutton/Flatwoods; 2028 has not been locked to that site in public listings.
